Our Aims:

Gaelic League works tirelessly to promote and develop the Irish Language in the area through cultural and educational activities.

What we Offer:

Through the medium of Irish both children and adults are given the opportunity to explore their heritage in an inclusive programme of linguistic, cultural and educational activities.

The core activities of the branch include:

• Irish Language Classes
• Summer Schemes and festivals
• Provision of Gaeltacht scholarships
• Examination of students in the Irish language and presentation of Fáinní
• Local publications, including an annual calendar and book of local townland names.
